In 2018 we were approached by intu Trafford Centre with an exciting new venture!
‘Could we and would we create something exceptional amalgamating a Christmas grotto experience with the ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ brand? The answer of course was a very excited and unanimous yes.’
Eskimo Jo Events worked alongside Penguin Ventures to create a captivating ‘Beatrix Potter’ themed event space, hosting a selection of the wonderful Beatrix Potter characters within.
Customers at the intu Trafford Centre were invited to join Peter Rabbit within his cosy burrow, continuing on their adventure through Peter’s top-secret tunnel into the frosty winter woodland where other well-known Beatrix Potter characters were ready to interact and entertain providing a fully immersive Christmas experience.
The live event was managed flawlessly operationally and theatrically by a team of superb Eskimo’s and performers, the outcome being a staggering final footfall count of 42,000 visitors!! Yikes!!
In 2019 The Peter Rabbit Christmas Experience returned to intu Trafford Centre with the promise of meeting two additional, captivating Beatrix Potter Characters; Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Squirrel Nutkin.
Visitors got the exciting opportunity to throw snowballs in the magical winter woodland with the cheeky Squirrel Nutkin, and decorate delicious gingerbread biscuits in Mrs Tiggy-Winkle’s cosy kitchen.
